In the morning get to know the California metropolis Los Angeles better on a city tour. See Beverly Hills, Hollywood and Downtown before hitting the road and travelling the famous Pacific Coast Highway (Highway 1) to The Monterey Peninsula. The most scenic stretch takes you through the coastal towns of Morro Bay, San Simeon and Big Sur to Monterey.

The journey continues along the legendary Highway No. 1 to one of the most beautiful American cities, San Francisco.

With so many magnificent route options today, the choice is yours for what way you travel to Yosemite. Choose to travel through Sonoma and Napa Valley (the most famous wine regions in the Northern California wine country) and the beautiful Sacramento or take the more leisurely route of Highway 49 which offers an interesting glimpse into California’s gold rush era. Otherwise, choose to go directly to Yosemite and enjoy the afternoon exploring the park.

Take plenty of time to experience all the natural beauties of the parks intensively. In the evening, reach your overnight accommodation.

Today you have two options: You can travel directly to Las Vegas, spend the afternoon exploring the gambling town or simply relax at one of the many beautiful hotel pools you will find in the desert or you can detour through the world famous Death Valley and visit Badwater, the lowest point in North America.

The bright lights of Las Vegas offer glitz, glamour, gambling, sparkles and campaign – Las Vegas is like no other city on earth. Spend a full day at leisure exploring the spectacle that is Las Vegas.

A day full of natural beauties is waiting you today. Your first destination is the Zion National Park, whose unique landscape was created by wind, time and the power of the Virgin River. In the afternoon, arrive in Bryce Canyon National Park and learn more about the history of the creation of this geological wonder world of bizarre rock formations before spending the night near the park.

Continue through the fantastic landscape of the American West. First, a stop at the Capitol Reef National Park, which got its name because the first settlers reminded the area on the Fremont River of a reef. You will accompany the Fremont River part of the way. In the afternoon, a visit to a unique national park should be on your radar: The Arches National Park, a nature reserve with the world’s largest concentration of natural rock arches will delight you! Stay in Moab, the tourist center for trips to the surrounding national parks. The area is also popular with Hollywood filmmakers; here, for example, the films “Thelma & Louise” and “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” were filmed.

Today you’ll reach the Navajo Indian Reservation and Monument Valley, which with its majestic rock formations is a popular photo object and backdrop for numerous Western films. Explore the valley under Indian guidance (optional) or enjoy the view from the visitor center.

Depart Monument Valley and reach Lake Powell. The lake was created after the construction of the Glen Canyon Dam and has a maximum length of approx. 300 km and a maximum width of 40 km. It is one of North America’s two largest reservoirs alongside Lake Mead. We spend the night in the village of Page near the lake.

Today, experience one of the most impressive natural wonders on earth, the Grand Canyon. We recommend a sightseeing flight by plane or helicopter to experience the full extent of this wonder of the world (optional).

Your destination for the day is the Phoenix / Scottsdale region. There is an opportunity for a unique experience: a hot air balloon flight, on which you will enjoy a fantastic view of the metropolis of Phoenix and the Sonoran Desert (optional).

Your route today depends on your plans for the day and if you wish to visit Joshua Tree National Park in the afternoon or have ample time for sightseeing tomorrow. If you wish to detour through the park, we recommend you leave Phoenix early to leave sufficient time for sightseeing.

Return to the metropolis of Los Angeles today. If you are looking for a more scenic route and don’t mind some mountain driving, consider following the Angeles Crest Highway through Angeles National Forest. The alternative to I-10 is Highway 74, a wonderful back road that showcases the beautiful pastoral joys of an older California.

Finish off your sightseeing today before heading to the airport for your flight home.
