Day 1
Arrive in Queenstown

Welcome to Queenstown! Home to a huge choice of adrenaline activities including jet boating, bungy jumping, white water rafting, skydiving and even indoor thrills – all guaranteed to get your blood pumping!

Day 2
Queenstown

Spend the day exploring the action-packed Queenstown.

Day 3
Queenstown to Milford Sound to Te Anau

Head to Te Anau today via picture-perfect Milford Sound. Enjoy a nature cruise of Milford Sound before continuing on to Te Anau.

Day 4
Te Anau to Wanaka

Relax and drive along Te Anau’s picturesque township until you reach the spectacular alps of the South Island, New Zealand, in Wanaka.

Day 5
Wanaka to Franz Josef

Today you’re heading to Franz Josef, passing through scenic towns such as Haast along the way.

Day 6
Franz Josef to Punakaiki

The road from the glaciers is rural, but with a wild streak. The farmland is trying to turn back into forest, and the beauty of the rivers is raw and primeval. Once you hit the ocean, you will be treated with great views of the wild west coast until you arrive in Punakaiki.

Day 7
Punakaiki to Nelson

The road to Nelson is scenic and interesting. Those with plenty of time can turn off and loop past the Nelson Lakes National Park.

Day 8
Nelson to Picton to Wellington

The picturesque seaside town of Picton is the gateway to the marine, forest and island attractions of the Marlborough Sounds. It is also where you will board the Interislander Ferry that will take you from Picton to Wellington. Your trip across the Cook Strait will be both enjoyable and unforgettable.

Day 9
Wellington

There is plenty more to see and do in the cultural center of New Zealand and capital city. A must-see is Te Papa, the ground-breaking interactive Museum of New Zealand.

Day 10
Wellington to Waitomo

Leave the capital and head further north. Stop at the Waitomo Glowworm Caves and marvel at Mother Nature’s light display as you glide silently through the starry wonderland of the Glowworm Grotto.

Day 11
Waitomo to Rotorua

Leave Waitomo to Lake Rotorua and the thermal area.

Day 12
Rotorua & Matamata

Today is a full day exploring Rotorua & surrounds. Visit Rainbow Springs Kiwi Wildlife Park, enjoy a Hangi and Concert at Te Po before heading to the Shire to enjoy a Hobbiton Evening Dinner Tour.

Day 13
Rotorua to Pauanui

Leave the thermal area of Rotorua and drive towards the coast and the Coromandel Peninsula.

Day 14
Pauanui to Auckland

From the seaside resort of Pauanui, travel to Auckland, New Zealand’s largest and most diverse city. Enjoy an afternoon at Auckland Sky Tower.

Day 15
Auckland

Take a trip on the Fullers Devonport Ferry across the Harbour from downtown Auckland to the marine village of Devonport.

Day 16
Depart from Auckland

Finish off your Auckland sight-seeing this morning before heading to the airport for your flight home.
